This is Chris (aka the groom)

We thought it would be fun to turn the tables a little bit, and have Jaime write Chris’ bio and Chris write Jaime’s.

So here you have it: everything you ever wanted to know about Chris, as told by his number one fan in the whole universe.  It’s sure to be completely unbiased, of course.

Name: Christopher James Brugman

DOB: June 6, 1982

Hometown: Niagara Falls, ON

Occupation: Learning & Development Specialist

Siblings: David, Elizabeth & Alexandra (the twins).  Chris is the oldest!

Interests & Activities: Playing (not watching – thank goodness) sports such as basketball, soccer & ball hockey; trolling the web for whatever is interesting; food & wine; photography; sci-fi/fantasy – Game of Thrones is a current favourite; music (he plays the guitar and sings quite nicely!); movies; video games; nature/hiking; just generally trying anything new and exciting!

Yes, but what kind of a guy is he really?: Chris is a superhero.  No joke – he’s been spotted around town in a cape ;).  By around town I mean on Christmas cards made by me, but same diff really.  But seriously, Chris is the person I admire most in the world.  He’s laid back and his calm demeanour and quick wit completely balance my off the wall intensity.  Wherever he goes he has people laughing!  He’s creative and energetic, the perfect combination of old-fashioned chivalry and modern-mindedness, he knows a lot about a lot of things and he is extremely patient.  He’s spontaneous and thoughtful – always surprising me whether it’s some big gift or just making sure there are candles lit and a green tea latte waiting when I get home late from a business trip.  Chris has been there for me through good times and bad and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will always have his support, and he’s just as loyal and kind to his friends and his family (including the Sismans) as well.  He is quite literally the best person I know.  He is always up for an adventure, and I can honestly say that he makes my life better every single day.  If you don’t know him, well…you should.  I’m sure glad I do!  Plus babies and animals adore him, so I’m pretty sure that’s a good sign too 😉

Without further ado!

Hello folks!

We haven’t been on here for a while, but as many of you know, we’ve had a very good reason: We’ve been working on our video for Phase III of the W3 contest.  And now we’d like to share the results (of our work, not the contest – we won’t know that until June 11th) with you all!

You can follow this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCujxiJrC4M to view…and for anyone who has trouble (i.e. people in the US) there is another link below to a less “musically diverse” version that will play outside of Canada.  Sorry about the repetition, but evidently there was some confusion about a copyright?

Anyway, we hope you enjoy!  We sure had a good time making it, and it will definitely be a memory of our wedding journey that we will have for years to come.
